| Happy Earth Day! There are still a lot of Earth Day activities going on (the day is still young). So go do something good for the environment and all of us! |

| It's a beautiful morning! My run this morning confirmed how much I hate treadmills. I'd just rather be outside. |

| The best post-run snack on a hot day?A fudgesicle. |

| Good & Bad
The good: This weekend I got to see people whom I normally don't get to see. I spent Saturday afternoon with Jonathan. We had lunch and ice cream. Later in the afternoon, we went to Herman park with my leftover english muffin that was both soggy and stale. So, I got to feed the duckies! They were so beautiful! In the Japanese gardens there were several ducklings swimming around. Jonathan pointed them out to a young boy who quickly commented that there were too many. There were about 20-25. (I tried to count, but they were swimming around and they all looked the same). We also got to see turtles and (my fav.) the giant golden fish like the ones I used to feed in Okinawa. The ones that look like the magic fish in the stories grandma used to tell me. Sunday night, I had dinner and ice cream with Brian. I now have the cutest picture of the two of us! It was so great to see him! Hopefully he'll come work at JMP and they'll give us a cube to share. But really, I think JMP knows better than to do that...
The bad: Despite my obsessive handwashing, I have a real talent for picking up whatever is going around. Friday, I wasn't feeling too well. Come to find out, one of my coworkers had been sick thursday and when we compared symptoms, they were all too similar. But I started feeling better Friday evening and thought I was okay. Not so. I wasn't feeling well saturday evening and went to bed with a headache at 6:30 p.m. Then Sunday, I went to bed as soon a Brian left. And today I'm home from work. I have a little bit of a bug AND a sinus infection. Man, I'm talented. And the worst, I ended up throwing up all the ice cream I ate all weekend. what a waste. But each sinus infection I get makes me want surgery more and more. Maybe soon. When I have vacation time again. Or maybe I'll move someplace where there aren't as many allergens to bother me. Sarah, maybe I come to NY with you! Ok, probably not. But it sounded fun. But cold. I guess I'll just visit. in the early fall or late spring. |
